Privacy Policy

Placeholder policy. Please replace with your finalised, legally reviewed version before going live.

ASH Care ("we", "us") collects information you provide through our booking enquiry and contact forms in order to plan Short Term Accommodation and respite stays. This includes sensitive information about disability, health, medication, behavioural considerations, NDIS funding and personal contact details.

What we collect

Participant information, contact person details, NDIS and funding details, accommodation preferences, support requirements, uploaded documents and communications.

How we use it

To arrange accommodation and support, communicate about the stay, coordinate with plan managers or support coordinators, and meet legal obligations.

Consent

By submitting an enquiry, you consent to us handling this information in line with this policy. You can withdraw consent by contacting us.

Storage and security

Information is stored in secure systems with access limited to authorised team members. We retain information only as long as needed for service delivery and legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries to run the site and — only with your consent — to measure how it's used. This section is maintained by ASH Care to explain what we set and how you stay in control.

Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function: your signed-in session, security tokens, and your cookie choice itself (stored in your browser under ash.cookie-consent.v1). These are always on and do not require consent.
  • Functional. Remember non-essential preferences you set while using the site, such as autosaved progress in the booking enquiry wizard (stored locally in your browser).
  • Analytics — off by default. Google Analytics 4 (cookies beginning with _ga) helps us understand which pages are used and where people get stuck. Loaded only after you click Accept all on the cookie banner.
  • Advertising / measurement — off by default. The Meta (Facebook) Pixel (cookies including _fbp) measures the effectiveness of ads that bring people to our site. Loaded only after you click Accept all on the cookie banner.

How consent works

When you first visit the site, a banner asks you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser. If you decline (or dismiss the banner), the Google Analytics and Meta Pixel scripts are never loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you accept, those scripts load and record page views and interactions such as CTA and FAQ clicks on our "What's Included" pages.

Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data for ashable.au in your browser, which will re-show the cookie banner on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings, and use tools like the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and your Meta ad-preferences page for platform-level controls.
